Vitamin C injections
Our Beverly Hills center provides Vitamin C injections to safely boost immune system, heal wounds, and fight infections. Vitamin C has been touted as one of the best anti oxidants known to man. There are several vitamin C benefits that are related to good health and a healthy body, but the body cannot produce nor store excess vitamin C, which means that people have to either eat foods high in vitamin C or take an oral vitamin C supplement in order to get the body the vitamin C that it needs. Unfortunately, consuming food high in vitamin C and taking oral supplements may not be an efficient way to significantly raise vitamin C levels in the body. Our center provides vitamin c injections and IV vitamin C drips.
Vitamin C Benefits
In addition to acting as a powerful antioxidant, which means that it helps fight harmful free radicals which can damage cells if allowed to accumulate in the blood, vitamin C also plays important roles in other bodily systems. Other vitamin C benefits include helping with the absorption of iron, wound healing, and the production of collagen which is used in connective tissue throughout the body.
Vitamin C Supplement
Your body typically receives vitamin c from the food you eat or from an oral vitamin C supplement if you choose to take one on a regular basis. While you may have the best of intentions, any nutrients like vitamin C that are consumed orally are generally diluted by the digestive processes of the stomach and liver. This means that the human body only receives the benefit of a small fraction of the vitamin C that it consumes in the form of food or pills. While it may be possible to simply increase the intake of foods high in vitamin C and vitamin C pills, many people would find it physically impossible to eat the amount of food or swallow the amount of pills that it would take to ensure the body consistently has enough vitamin C to operate at maximum health.
Vitamin C IV Therapy
IV vitamin therapy is not new. In fact, it's existed in mainstream medicine since at least the 1970s, but it's gotten a lot of attention recently thanks to all the A-List celebrities who swear by its effectiveness. By injecting essential nutrients like vitamin C via an IV drip directly into the bloodstream, those nutrients can avoid being diluted by the enzymes in the stomach and liver that normally process the food we eat. High dose IV Vitamin C has been used to adjunct cancer treatment, infections as well as aid in wound healing and burns.
